Biography
Renee Kathleen Zellweger was born on April 25, 1969, in Katy, Texas, a small town outside Houston. The daughter of European parents (her father was Swiss and her mother Norwegian), Renee had an older brother that she greatly admired. After graduating from Katy High School in 1987, where Renee was a cheerleader, gymnast and participated in the drama club, she went off to the University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in English. An excellent student (she made the Dean's List several times), Renee took a drama class only because she needed a fine arts credit to complete her degree. Her participation in drama while in college turned out to be much more than a requirement, as it reminded her of how much she loved acting. Not even having planned on becoming an actress earlier, Renee knew by the time that she graduated from college that she wanted to pursue a career in acting. She immediately began auditioning for commercials and films that were being shot in Texas, and it didn't her take long to get her first film role. Although the roles she landed were bit-parts, the films did well and co-starred respectable actors such as Winona Ryder, Ethan Hawke and Matthew McConaughey.

Her uncredited role in 1993's Dazed and Confused as a high school senior was her first film role, and was followed up by a role in The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (released in 1997). It was on the set of Chainsaw that Renee heard about another film that was in the midst of casting actors, which as luck would have it, Renee auditioned for and got the lead. The film was Love and a .45, a film for which Renee received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Debut Performance. In the meantime, Renee appeared in other films such as The Low Life, 8 Seconds, Reality Bites, and Empire Records, but it was her starring role in The Whole Wide World which not only won her praise at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival, but also led to her breakthrough role in Cameron Crowe's hit Jerry Maguire. Cameron Crowe was so impressed with her work in The Whole Wide World that he knew Renee would be the perfect choice to play the girlfriend of sports agent Tom Cruise, after being dumped by Kelly Preston. She even beat out already known actresses Bridget Fonda, Cameron Diaz and Mira Sorvino for the part. Her role in Jerry Maguire earned her many awards and a lot of recognition, including a Screen Actor's Guild Nomination for Best Supporting Actress, as well as being named Entertainment Weekly's Best New Movie Actress.

After Jerry Maguire, Renee starred in the smaller films Deceiver and A Price Above Rubies, in which she played a Hasidic Jew. In 1998, she moved onto a more mainstream film, One True Thing, a tearjerker also starring Oscar winners Meryl Streep and William Hurt. The following year, Renee joined Chris O'Donnell in The Bachelor. Next up for Renee is the summer comedy Me, Myself and Irene, featured in our Top Summer Movie Picks. Renee fell for co-star Jim Carrey while on the set of filming the Farrelly Brothers' film, and the two are still going strong. Renee also landed the title role in the film Bridget Jones' Diary, beating out popular British actresses to play the role of a single British woman in her 30s.

* He says he uses a purple lightsaber in STAR WARS: EPISODE II - ATTACK OF THE CLONES (2002) but that fans shouldn't speculate endlessly about why. He just thought it would look cool so he asked George Lucas if he could have one and, eventually, Lucas agreed.

And in PULP FICTION, Jackson chides John Travolta for his poor hand-washing.
* Quentin Tarantino originally wrote the role of Jules in PULP FICTION specifically for Jackson, however it was almost given to Paul Calderon after a great audition. When he heard this, he flew to LA and re-auditioned, getting back the part he was supposed to play. Calderon ended up with a cameo as Paul, the bartender.
* When Ordell Robbie first goes to Max Cherry's office and is asked if he has the cash for the bond, he responds I got in right here in my brand new raptor bag. Biography
Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll known simply as Shakira, is a Colombian Latin pop singer-songwriter. She is best known for songs such as "Estoy Aqu", "Tu", "Ciega, Sordomuda", "Ojos As", "Whenever, Wherever", "Underneath Your Clothes", "Objection", "Don't Bother", "La Tortura", "Hips Don't Lie" and her dancing style which primarily features her hips. She is in the Guiness Book of Records: Most #1 weeks on Billboard Latin Singel Charts, for La Tortura. In 2007 she will be added as best selling single in a week for Hips Don't Lie. Shakira was born in Barranquilla, Colombia to a Colombian mother, Nidia del Carmen Ripoll Torrado, of Catalan and Italian decent, and an American born father of Lebanese descent, William Mebarak Chadid. Shakira, means "graceful or full of grace" in Arabic, is named after her grandmother. She was one of seven siblings, one of whom is her road manager. Shakira began writing and composing music at the age of eight. One of her first songs was called "Tus Gafas Oscuras" (Your Dark Glasses), which was about her father's grief over his son who had died in a car accident. At the age of ten, Shakira tried out for her school choir, but she was not taken because her voice was "too strong." Magia (Magic) was Shakira's debut album, recorded with Sony Colombia in 1991, when she was 15. The album did not fare well commercially, selling less than one thousand copies. After Magia, Shakira released Peligro (Danger) in 1993. The album was better received than Magia, but Shakira decided to take a hiatus from recording so that she could graduate from high school. Shakira returned to recording in 1995, supported by a new confessional and Alanis Morissette-oriented persona that affected some of her next albums, and made her third studio one, Pies Descalzos (Bare Feet), bring her great fame in Latin America. The singles "Estoy Aqu" (I'm Here), "Pies Descalzos, Sueos Blancos" (Bare Feet, White Dreams), and "Dnde Ests Corazn?" (Where Are You, My Heart?) became pop culture icons. Pies Descalzos sold more than 4 million copies, which prompted the release of a remix album, titled simply The Remixes, which sold more than a million copies. The Remixes also included Portuguese versions of some of her best-known songs, which were recorded because of her success in the Brazilian market. Shakira was the most nominated artist of the year for this year's MTV Video Music Awards '06. Her seven nominations were for "Hips Don't Lie", including Video of the Year and Best Female Video[citation needed]. She won only one award for Choreography. Shakira also performed "Hips Don't Lie" to the dance moves of popular Indian Choreographer Farah Khan. The award show was held on August 31st 2006 in Radio City Music Hall.

    Biography
Born in Buffalo, New York, Chad when four or five years old, performed skits and sang made-up songs for his large family which includes three brothers, a half-brother and a sister. At age fifteen, a high school football injury landed him in a hospital where a nurse encouraged him to pursue a modeling career. Two years later, Chad won a scholarship from a modeling agency in Buffalo to attend a modeling convention in Orlando. There he met his destiny when an agent from Los Angeles spotted him and persuaded the seventeen-year-old to pursue his dream of acting after graduation from high school. In 1999, the aspiring actor headed for Hollywood where he supported himself modeling for such clients as Sketchers, Tommy Hilfiger, and Gucci while looking for a break. Soon after he arrived, Chad appeared in several guest-starring television roles including an episode of "Diagnosis Murder." Then he got the call he'd been hoping for. The WB's "Gilmore Girls" was casting for the role of Tristan DuGrey. They were looking for someone who was likable and charismatic but with an edgy side, and someone who had that certain "IT" quality. Chad was all that plus he had the perfect physical characteristics that the show's writers had in mind. The teenager won the role and has since made the character his own. Chad Michael Murray stars as Hilary Duff's cyber love interest, Austin Ames, in A Cinderella Story. He currently stars on The WB's One Tree Hill as Lucas Scott, a brooding intellectual whose skills on the basketball court are matched only by his growing attraction to the beautiful girlfriend of his half-brother. Murray's previous television roles included playing the love interest for Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams on Dawson's Creek and Rory's overconfident classmate on Gilmore Girls. Other television credits include Aftermath with Meredith Baxter Birney and Robert Ulrich, and the title role in The WB's The Lone Ranger. Chad's upcoming projects include the lead in Joel Silver's House Of Wax, opposite Elisha Cuthbert, currently in production. He recently co-starred in the critically acclaimed remake of Freaky Friday opposite Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. He admires the talents of actors Ed Norton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino and Robert DiNiro and uses their influences in his work. Always a firm believer in clean living, Chad is a natural athlete. He played his favorite sport, football, in high school and keeps fit by working out at the gym, inline skating, playing soccer, volleyball and basketball as well as football pick-up games. He is an anti-drug role model for kids and is active in charities for children and teens during his spare time. Still very single, Chad has set up house with a pug named Gus and a unique boisterous cat named Jack, who keep him from missing his large family too much.

    Biography
Drew Blythe Barrymore was born on February 22, 1975. Parented by the famous Hollywood-royalty Barrymore family, she first began acting at the tender age of 11 months in a TV commercial. At 7, Drew was starring in box-office record-breaker E.T. (1982). The flip side of this child stardom was revealed when she dropped out of school at 14 and published her co-written autobiography, Little Girl Lost (1990). Drinking at 9, dope-smoking at 10 and coke-snorting at 12 were some of the stops on Barrymore's descent. After a string of roles in little-seen movies, Drew played an amoral teen seductress in Poison Ivy (1992). The role brought her minor-icon status that was further cemented by a Guess add shot by Ellen Von Unwerth. It was a jeans ad campaign which highlighted her white trash sex appeal.

Barrymore tends to fare best in high-spirited, low-class projects like The Amy Fisher Story (tv movie, 1993), Guncrazy (1992), and the short-lived twenty-something soap 2000 Malibu Road (1992), rather than in mid-budget Hollywood fodder like Bad Girls (1994), Boys on the Side (1995), and Mad Love (1995) Less than two months after her March 1994 marriage to an LA bar owner, Drew filed for divorce; she subsequently became involved with Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson, whose praises she invariably sang on her many TV talk show appearances. After many nude public appearances, including the David Letterman, and the China Club, Drew has finally begun to settle down. She has begun to throw off her bad girl attitude and settle for a more womanly one. Drew is now a spokesperson, and actress for a women's condom commercial which aired on MTV.

Drew's more recent moves in showbiz, include her excellent performance in Wes Craven's "Scream"(1996), her role in Woody Allen's "Everyone Says I Love You"(1996), and "The Wedding Singer"(1997). In 1996. on a film shoot, Drew met Luke Wilson, whom she broke up with in 1999 Drew is now enjoying her life. She played a Cinderella with Girl Power in the movie "Ever After"(1998), she played a pregnant fast-food worker in "Home Fries"(1998), and played Luke Wilson's fiance in the movie "Best Men" (1998). She has begun to focus on her work as a producer, scoring hits with 'Never Been Kissed' and the critically acclaimed 'Donnie Darko' (2001) in which she had a small role. Her most recent acting credit was the sequel to the hit 'Charlie's Angels'.
